Good swim start! I had to close a gap of 20 m to the chase pack in the first hill. The bike course was a very hilly and difficult one.
On the downhill in the tunnel I tried a breakaway from the 29 athletes together with Delian Stateff and Jonas Breinlinger. With a good transition I started the run in the 4th position.

Braveness and obstination do not serve a lot, if destiny continues to On you ! Already away from training the week before the Worlds due to an bacterial infection, I was confronted with winter, rainy and heavy storm weather conditions and to round it up I cought a cold.
