Le champion grand-ducal a vécu samedi soir l'une des pires épreuves de sa carrière.
Le classement brut de la course canadienne dit bien les choses : avec un important retard de 5'29 '', notre compatriote a terminé 40e (et avant dernier) sur les 50 concurrents au départ parmi lesquels 9 athlètes n'ont pas passé l'arrivée, dont quelques gros bras, tels le Portugais Pereira (No 6 mondial, champion d'Europe en titre), le Russe D.Polyanskiy (No 19 ), l'Américain Mcelroy (No25) ou encore le Français Coninx (No 40).

came with high expectations for myself! An aggressive and brutal swim, so hard,
that I wanted to give up...! Mentally strong I knew the next part would be not
less hard, and Integrated immediately the lead pack and gave it all till the
transition 2.
